Many, many years ago, as far back as the late eighties in fact, the question was put, if you could meet Patrick McGoohan, what would your ultimate question to him be? Well personally I wouldn't have asked Patrick McGoohan any question about the Prisoner. Firstly you never knew how he would react to being asked about the Prisoner, and secondly you could never get a straightforward answer from him, and never the same answer twice!
No, if I could ask anyone who worked on the Prisoner, I would ask someone on the production team, possibly Bernard Williams. Why choose 1 Buckingham Place, Westminster, London for the Prisoners house? So far I have been unable to find out, through research, why that particular house was chosen. I have always been intrigued by this.
