School Days

    Those are the days, the days that are gone. The faces forgotten, the memories linger on....Southminster.

    No.12 "You don't believe it? A University degree in three minutes.""

    "If only we had Spedelearn when I was a boy at school. One hundred percent entry, one hundred percent pass, and I'd have passed my Eleven-Plus!"
    "That's all very well academically. But Speedlearn cannot teach you woodwork."
    "No."
   Speedlearn cannot teach you metal work, like braising, working at a forge."
    "Admittedly no."
    "There's there's horticulture. Speedlearn cannot teach you gardening."  
    "You're right again. What point are you trying to make?"
    "That Speedlearn has no practical application whatsoever!"
    "It taught me what happened in ten-sixty-six."
    "What happened in ten-sixty-six?"
    "Harold got it in the eye!"
    "Well quite. Shall we sing the old school song?"
    "We didn't have a song at my school!"
