Why the rocket? Was No.1 trying to be the first man on the Moon, as suggested by No.6 to No.2 during The Chimes of Big Ben? Of course the rocket, or rather a missile, a British Blue Streak rocket, is crudely superimposed onto the film of Fall Out, as seen in the above picture. Yet the red 1 seen on the rocket in the next picture, isn't so very far away from the mark.
The first Blue Streak rocket was known as 'Red 1,' and I have a picture, somewhere on a memory stick, of a recovery vehicle used to recover the pieces of Blue Streak rocket, after it had impacted with the ground after re-entry into the Earths atmosphere. The vehicle was an adapted Landrover, with a large red 1 upon the high side of the vehicle. Be seeing you.
