Thought For The Day

I wonder if the students of Speedlearn noticed, the day after the episode of The General, that there were no further lectures? Did the students realise that they would not achieve that university degree? Or would life have gone on in the Village as though Speedlean had never existed?
And just how long had the Professor and his wife Madam Professor been in the Village? Because amongst those sculptures in the Professor's house, is one of No.2 from The Chimes of Big Ben, a sculpture which was previously seen in that episode at the exhibition of Arts & Crafts. If Madam Professor had been in the Village at that time, then the Arts & Crafts exhibition would have certainly have attracted her attention, as an artist. Perhaps she was there at the time. Perhaps she did create a bust of No.2 and enter it into the Arts & Crafts exhibition, otherwise why have the bust of a former No.2 in her house? Certainly Madam Professor explains it this way, that they are her simple finger exercises!          Be seeing you.
