Downright Daft!

    There are several scenes within the Prisoner series which comes under the heading of Downright Daft, like the one in Hammer Into Anvil when a bomb disposal man, having taken a Cuckoo clock apart, there having supposed by No.2 to contain a bomb and finds nothing but the workings of the Cuckoo clock. No.2 then turns up on the scene, and the bomb disposal man demonstrates his feelings towards the Chairman of the Village by tilting the wooden Cuckoo at him, the meaning is self-evident. The only question is, how did the bomb disposal man get away with such a gesture?    Be seeing you
