    The hippie in Fall Out symbolises youth in rebellion against the establishment and, as in the closing sequence of the young man trying to thumb a lift first in one direction and then in another on a motorway, youth not knowing, or caring, in which direction it goes.                 {Series guidlines}

    Or as I see it, it's not the direction in which one goes, nor is it the destination that is important, it is the journey getting there that matters.
