No. 6 is put on trial for the possesion of a radio which he took off the dead body lying in the water, having apparently been washed up on the beach. The dead man is No.34, and the question is, how did he manage to bring a radio into the village with him?

I would think that the radio was planted on him for Number Six to find, and thus to give a reason for the whole sham of a trial at the party. The whole thing with the body on the beach was orchestrated by The Village.

ReplyDeleteWell now, that's a new take on the Number Six finding the dead body washed up on the beach, and one I had not considered. Which only goes to show that there are still many ways of looking at situations in 'the Prisoner,' thank you for your very interesting comment.
