A favourite Scene In The Prisoner

The beach scenes of 'Checkmate' because they put me in mind of summer holidays at the sea side when I was a boy. From Blackpool, to Margate, Ramsgate, to Southend-on-sea. Brighton, Weymouth, and Torquay. Including Skegness, Cleethorpes, and Cromer to name but a few.
'The Prisoner' means many things to many people. I'm sure we can all find something perosnal within the series. This is something personal to me.

I'll be seeing you

  1. I agree entirely David. I was fortunate enough to grow up in the sea side town of Southend-on-Sea (home of the Kursaal fairground seen in 'Girl'.) and remember many a hot summer in the 70's, running along the beaches with my bucket and spade!
