Thought For The Day

                     
Did you know the music score used during the scene from ‘The Chimes of Big Ben’ where No.6 is seen chopping down a tree, actually comes from the 1964 television series ‘The Adventures of Robinson Crusoe’? Number 6 like, Robinson Crusoe, is a marooned survivor, who has to learn to survive in an alien environment. Who also tries to escape by raft!

    I watched this wonderful series a few years ago already aware that it contained the incidental music from 'Chimes' and 'Returns'.

    However, I was disappointed to discover that the music is only similar but not the same.

    Hi Steve,

    I haven't watched 'The adventures of Robinson Crusoe' for years. Such are the tricks the memory plays on one. I could have sworn the music was the same. I'll have to dig out the videos and watch the series again some time.
