A favourite Scene in The Prisoner

During 'Checkmate' when No.8 is in the kitchen pom-pomming the nursery rhyme "Half a pound of tuppenny rice, half a pound of treacle, that's the way the money goes, pop goes the weasle" and making No.6 his nightcap of hot chocolate. No.6's day has been no worse no better. He asks No.8 how she got in, and as it happens by the usual way, but the door! It's a warm feeling on a cold night, and all No.8 wants to know is if No.6 likes her.
Earlier in the episode No.6 had made No.8 cry, but a drop of water won't wash away his doubts. And in this scene No.6 makes No.8 cry again, but at least she's being no trouble to No.6, and she will see him again tomorrow, as he's here all the time! But what I wonder is, seeing as they are using No.8 as part of the alarm system, do they also get her to drug No.6's nightcap?

Be seeing you
