Living In Harmony

I find it quite remarkable that efforts had gone so far as to construct an American frontier town of the 1800's so close to the Village - why? Well of course the architecture might not mirror that of the Italianate village, but certainly this frontier town was not especially built as a separate entity to the village, but is actually part of the village!
You can see parts of the town of Harmony in the episodes of ‘The Chimes of Big Ben,’ ‘A B & C,’ and ‘The Schizoid Man,’ with citizens walking by, cyclists riding by, and a Village taxi passing through at one point, as part of it’s canopy is not attached to the frame work.
In fact the taxi in the above picture is the Village Hearse which pulled the black canopied trailer containg the coffin at Cobb's funeral in 'Arrival.'
So any thoughts that the American frontier town was especially built for a special reason can be dismissed, but seen as an extension to the Village. Harmony is not a seperate enity to the Village, but an extention. As we know the Village is a mixture of architecture, Italianate being only one.

Be seeing you
