Thought For The Day

  In a previous piece of blog I said that the Prisoner-No.6 thinks very highly of himself, suggesting that the rules by which society in the Village is governed, are rules to which he is not subject. And that the work he carried out before he resigned was above the law!
   What I forgot to mention, was that in 'Once Upon A Time,' after a speeding incident which saw him brought before the Beak, I mean Judge, and having been fined and sentenced, the Prisoner was going to complain against his unfair treatment. The Judge told the Prisoner that he was getting the same treatment as everybody else, "Yes I know" said the Prisoner, "that's why I'm going to complain!"
   The Prisoner-No.6 certainly sets himself above all others. Perhaps that's the No.1 part of his character who he is trying to beat. If No.6 cannot expunge or temper the No.1 part of his character, he'll never have peace of mind. Such is the struggle that goes on within himself, his conscience No.6 against No.1 who took the conscious decision to do the things that the Prisoner had to perform in his former life. Against what he had become!
