THEPRIS6NER

The "Hope and Anchor" is a public house which No.6 used to drink at. This possibly reinterprets in THEPRIS6NER series that Six sees hope for escape when he sees the anchor in the dessert.
To Six the Anchor represents escape, because where there is an anchor, there's a ship, and where there's a ship there's a sea or ocean. Six's hopes are raised when he, 16, and the "winking" woman find the ocean. 16 goes running off into the water, splashing about, until the intervention of the white membranic mass of the Village Guardian. 16 is taken below the waves, suffocated and drowned!
Later Six takes 313 to see the ocean for herself, but any hopes of escape via the ocean are dashed, as there is no ocean. Only the sea of the dessert, into which the Village Guardian must have taken 16. Suffocation and drowning in the sea is one thing, but to drown in a sea of sand, well that's something else!

Yes I knew it had to be, having watched 'Arrival' that the wife and I would be watching the rest of the series, continuing last night with 'Harmony.' The original has a weak episode 'Do Not Forsake Me Oh My Darling,' and so the same can be said of THEPRIS6NER it's weak episode being 'Harmony.' However there is continuity between the end of 'Arrival,' and the beginning of 'Harmony.' In that at the end of 'Arrival,' Six is attacked by the Village Guardian, suffocated into unconsciousness. And 'Harmony' commences with the Village Guardian moving away, having left Six lying in the sand unconscious

Now I feel like a beer or twelve!
Be seeing you
