Caught On Camera!

The Number 1!
The Prisoner's house is being made ready for him. Had they already expected the former No.6 to reject the offer of ultimate power, so not to lead them, but to go? The “For Sale” sign had been removed, the windows of the house cleaned, and his car brought back, washed and valeted. And yet many years ago the following observation was made, and question asked; “As Graham Nearn drives the Lotus Seven up to the house of No.1 Buckingham Place in ‘Fall Out,’ what is the man putting on the front door? Is it the number 1?" Now I have looked and look again at the film footage at this point in ‘Fall Out,’ and at no time is there a man attaching the number 1 onto the front door. But I do recall seeing a photograph of this, but for the life of me I cannot find it, search as I may. But the fact of the matter is, the man is not attaching the number 1 onto the front door, as it’s been there all the time, the man is simply polishing it. This in the same way the windows are being cleaned, and the Lotus Seven polished, being made ready for it’s owner, who will not step over it's threshold, until he finally arrives home to collect two ready packed suitcases, passport, and airline ticket.

Be seeing you
