    To my mind the President suggests that there has been a mistake made with The Village. That it is an  oppressive community which does not tolerate the individual. And yet the Prisoner has vindicated the right of the individual to be individual. That through the former Number 6 there might be a better way, to make a better Village, moral Village, seeing as Number 6 cares so much. See how he defended the Village against the plots and stratagems of Number 2 on several occasions. Avenging the wronged, and defending the weak. There is of course one flaw in all this....that the Prisoner known as Number 6 has been responsible for The Village all the time! Unless of course 'the Prisoner' is simply all about twins!!
