Is No.6 a prisoner of The Village, or his own conscience?
The answer? 2 sides of the same coin. On the level of (series) action he's prisoner of the Village. On the level of interpretation he a prisoner of his conscience, of himself, of us all.- BCNU!
To expand on what David said, perhaps the Village is a representation of his conscience - mostly well ordered, beautiful in places. But with some dark and scary areas.....
Good question! - BCNU!
ReplyDeleteHello Arno,
DeleteYes but what's the answer? Perhaps both, if The Village and the Prisoner's conscience are one and the same!
Very best regards
David
