Was it really worth a try? All that time, effort, and the
resources of The Village brought together for one purpose, to defeat the Prisoner Number 6. And for what? For a man to resign from The Village, no-one
does that and is allowed to roam free, especially with all that extra knowledge inside his head. He could go ratting to anyone who might listen, the Colonel
for example. Oh no, the best thing to do with ZM73 {to use his code name} is to
put him in The Village, and keep him there permanently. The man’s nothing more
than a troublemaker!
