I wonder what citizens of the village would want to know from new arrivals? The date perhaps, if the date in the village was found to be unreliable, or simply for reassurance. And what of the outside world, which is the government now, Labour or the Conservatives? Who is the Prime Minister? The question of fashion might be raised by the ladies of the village. How is the Vietman situation? Or ask for news of any kind. And music, tell me what is the popular music of the day, and who are the Beatles? After all, when Roland Walter Dutton met with a recent new arrival, he asked No.6 "How's London?"
Well what do you think No.2 and No.6 discussed during their time of non-activity locked together for all that time in the embryo room during Once Upon A Time? You will recall how No.2 had just been brought back to the village, you don't possibly think that all No.6 and No.2 did was play role playing games all the time when not asleep? They had meals together, shared a bathroom, went to the toilet and perhaps chatted about all kinds of things concerning the outside world in between their role playing activities.
