This seems a very familiar scene to me. No.6 handing No.2 papers which are important to him, they being his future. His letter of resignation perhaps. But no, it's only the lease of the house. But what about the log book of KAR 120C? There is no indication of the previous owner! Were they really so paranoid about revealing the Prisoner's name? Certainly they were taking no chances. After all when No.6 says "This is a new one {meaning log book} your's name is the first name on it, there is no indication of the previous owner." I mean the Prisoner need not have said that, it's as though they didn't want the Prisoner's name known, yet seemed to go out of their way to draw the viewers attention to the fact.
