It was during that episode with The Schizoid Man that No.6 encountered his exact double, in Curtis-No.12 and seeming to fight against himself. And again, during Fall Out, No.6 either met up again with Curtis-No.12, or with his alter-ego in No.1 who he tried to lay hands on. But this was not the first time Patrick McGoohan had met with himself, there's nothing new or remarkable about it. Because Patrick McGoohan had done so before, in the Danger Man episode The Ubiquitous Mister Lovegrove, when John Drake faces and struggles against himself!
