I know there are the mountains, but even so there was a large amount of open countryside. But then again the Mini-Moke was originally designed as an all terrain vehicle for the army, but performed well only on tarmac, or solid sand in the Village estuary!
So perhaps with No.6 rejecting an overland escape, selecting to go by sea, may have come as a bit of a shock to those who are watching!
