Caught On Camera

    This is the television set aboard MS Polotska, after No.6 had hurled an ashtray at it, smashing the screen. In a previous blog, I did say that despite the smashed television set, No.2 was still able to see what was happening aboard the cruiser via the television set. That is incorrect. No.2 had switched to another camera aboard the boat, to watch the fight between No.6 and the boats crew in the comfort of his chair, back in his office.
   However, there is something which is not quite right about this television set - it has no Tube, through which the television picture is projected. Had there been such a tube, then when No.6 smashed the television screen, there would have been such a loud report, the cabin would have been showered in splintered glass, as would No.6 and the boats crew. But looking at the inside of the television set, perhaps the Village has gone digital!  Be seeing you.
