     You mean No.6 can leave whenever he likes? Or is it the fact that No.6 refuses to give the reason for his resignation, that keeps him in the Village. That should he give his reason for resigning, then the Prisoner-No.6 can leave?
    I wonder what would happen to No.6, if he actually told No.2 during his de-briefing on the morning of his arrival in the Village?    BCNU.
