The sad news of the death of actress sheila Allen reached me this morning in an email, who died at the age of 78 on October 13th 2011. Essentially a stage actress, Sheila excelled at playing women of strength, wit, and charm. Fans will remember Sheila as Dian Eglington in the
Danger Man episode
Don't Nail Him Yet, as the doctor-No.14 in
A B & C of
the Prisoner, and in the 1976 series
Bouquet of Barbwire. Sheilla was born on October 22 1932. May she rest in peace.
