Feb 21st 1967.
Spare a thought for No.6, who having constructed his sea-going raft, set sail earlier today on his voyage of discovery.
5:44pm It's getting dark now, it will be cold and wet out there all alone aboard that raft. There is no cabin, no cover of any kind, no warmth, no lights with only the darkness and the stars for company. Even a man like No.6 will be afraid, as each passing day at sea becomes an even greater fight for survival. He will not be fighting against No.2 and the Village, he will be fighting even greater foes. The elements, the cold, fatigue, and the loneliness.
Be seeing you
