Gerorge Markstein
It was story editor George Markstein who was given the Alfred Hitchcock style cameo role in the Prisoner. First during the opening sequence to whom the Prisoner tenders his resignation. And again, Markstein repeats the role in Many Happy Returns as in the top two photographs. However, Markstein left the production, unhappy with the direction Patrick McGoohan was taking the Prisoner series. Had he not, then George Markstein could have played the Marshal in Living In Harmony, and thus maintaining the continuity of the series, and that of No.6's role-playing during that episode.
