Carnival Is Decreed!

There will be music, dancing, fun and happiness all at the carnival, by order! But even by order no-one appears to be enjoying themselves, even though there is music, and cheering. Because the carnival atmosphere of the Village is manufactured! I shouldn't think anyone feels like having a good time outside, especially the Prisoners, I cannot say for the warders, all you have to do is look upon the expression of the citizens as they are forced to parade around in fancy dress costumes. This then is the darker side of the Village, where citizens are forced to act accordingly. To give a false impression of Village life, because not all is calm a serene. Later these good citizens will turn into a murderous mob, baying for the blood of the Prisoner, and would more then likely tear him limb from limb if only they could get their hands on him. The good citizens carrying out the sentence of the court, and in the name of justice! Yet another demonstration of the manipulation of a community as such as this. Another dark side was to have been demonstrated in Dance of the Dead, when originally the doctor-No.40 was to have been seen having one of his failed "experiments" buried somewhere on the beach!   BCNU
