Clever aren't they? Yes, they are, damned clever! Think about it, 'they' can replace your wristwatch, as the one replaced by No.100 for No.6's wristwatch in It's Your Funeral, with an exact replica. So exact is it, right down the scratches on the glass, and general wear of the leather strap, that No.6 didn't notice that it wasn't in fact his wristwatch, except for the fact that it had stopped!
So where is No.6's sense of property of the previous Schizoid Man episode? I thought you couldn't catch No.6 out on his possessions? I bet I'd know if someone exchanged my wristwatch for one identical looking. Because when you've had something in your possession, worn it both by day and by night, you get the real sense of possession and feel for the object.
