Otherwise if he is destroyed, brainwashed, gives them what they want, as many before him have, who would then watch such a series? Where then would the story be, if there is to be story, for the viewer? Heroes always overcome overwhelming odds, as is the way with all heroes. Yet No.12 was a hero, wasn't he? That time in The General, when he was Trying to save the Professor’s life, stupidly so I thought at the time. Because No.12 lost his own life in the case, or was that No.12's last way out? after all, as the Rook_No.53 once said "One day I'll die and beat you all!"
