Comrade No.2!

   Number 2 is about to retire! Although he has never had any direct dealings with Number 6 himself, the impression given is that they had never even met before their meeting in ‘It’s Your Funeral. Comrade Number 2 has nonetheless been one of the most industrious of all Number 2’s in working for the good of the community and its citizens. Amongst his many achievements is the electrification of the clocks. A project on a small scale perhaps, but as Stalin said about socialism in respect to electricity at the Congress of Soviets in December 1920 “Communism equals Soviet Power plus the Electrification of the entire country.”
