How is it that when Number 6 pays a call on Number 2 in ‘It's Your Funeral,’ that he doesn't
recognise the man sitting in the chair, to whom No.6 says “I want to see
Number Two.” Obviously in the episode Number 6's first contact is someone who
he thinks is Number 2 {Derren Nesbitt} yet he is but an interim Number 2.
Surely Number 6 must have had at least some knowledge of Number 2 {Andre
Van Gysegham} who had just returned to The Village after a spell of leave! It seems
inconceivable that Number 6 would have no contact with Number 2. However seeing
as how Number 2 {Andre Van Gysegham} had been busy behind the scenes,
working on the amenities for the Village, perhaps he had no direct hands on
experience with Prisoners such as Number 6, which is strange when you think of
Number 2's predecessors!
