A simple romp with a humourous pay-off, is one way to decribe this episode of the Prisoner. Or reflecting on man's 'latent fears' of women, as someone once put it, well isn't it more the case that the Girl who was death is an eveil foe, who must be defeated by Mister X? It was also suggested, in the past, that this episode contains certain 'sexual images!' Where are these images? I would be very interested in seeing them. Certainly the Girl who was death is attractive, beautiful, and sexy. But of any 'sexual imagery,' well I've never seen any, unless of course it's Potter leering at the Girls legs with a pair of binoculars!
I've always been of the opinion that far too much is read into the Prisoner which is simply not there, nor was ever intended to be there in the first place. People also have far too much imagination, and see things which are not there either! But perhaps I lack the needed imagination to see them....I'll try harder next time I watch The Girl Who Was Death.
Some sexual imergary XXX Be seeing you.
