Thanks For The Trip Out Dad!
“Thanks for the trip dad,” said Number 48 after being brought up from the depths, “dad” having been a much used word in the 1960’s by the young for anyone older than themselves. “Give it to me baby” said the Judge questioning Number 48, “baby” being a form of address, to which Number 48 said “I’m your baby dad, you owe your baby something daddy. The bones are yours dad, taken from you my daddy.” And because of this it may be thought that the Judge is Number 48’s father. That is not the case, although 48 did suggest the bones were his my daddy! The Judge and Number 48 are merely using an informal form of address! After all it was the sixties!
