Postcard From The Village

There was once upon a time when I used to collect all manner of mrechandise and memorabilia regarding 'the Prisoner,' but not so much these days. Well I have an archive of material, books, badges, mugs, 'T' shirts, sweat shirts. Magazines, newsletters, and all manner of sheets of text to do with 'the Prisoner.' Then there are the videos, DVD, LP's, CD's, and cassesste tapes soundtracks of the series. Pens and posters, pictures and postcards, all collected over the past years.
Yet there is a time when you stop collecting, either because of all the material you have, or the merchandise no longer suits, or through the scarcity of memorablilia available. But as I say, I have built up quite an archive, I wouldn't say it was complete, but it is more complete than most collections. Perhaps one day, when I'm long gone, it might end up in a museum, to remain in a dusty corner of a vault.

Be seeing you

  1. I had to have a chuckle to myself recently.

For years, you don't see a 'Danger Man' annual. Then in the space of a couple of days - you see two (identical!) in the SAME street!

One was priced at £5.00 and the other was priced at £50.00!

Fortunately I'd bought my copy 25 years ago...

    1. Hi Steve,

I've got two or three 'Danger Man' annuals in the archive myself, including a 'Danger Man' story book.

      I'm obliged
      David
