The Prisoner, abducted from his home, isolated, forced to exist, I will
not say live, in an internment camp. His identity taken away, as well as his
clothes, he’s given a number, forced to wear attire more akin to a school or
boating regatta. He’s questioned, interrogated, drugged, his mind
re-conditioned, and what’s more he’s betrayed not only by those in The Village,
but by his friends and former colleagues! Just be thankful it’s not being done
to you! Mind you I used to know a few people who thought that Number 6 was a
hero having to endure the ordeals and tests he was put through. Some even
envied him I think, some wishing they could be put in The Village. Well you
know what they say don’t you, be careful what you wish for, you just might get
it. Although in this case it’s an impossibility, although if it were to,
perhaps they might make you Number 2!
