I
feel much better for having been in the Therapy Zone, things are so much
clearer now, and besides I like a drink! And yet there is one thing I do not
understand. How can anyone be an alcoholic in the Therapy Zone in perfect
privacy, and I do understand that, there being no surveillance. But to be an
alcoholic in the Therapy Zone is one thing, just as long as you rejoin the
flock in good time, but in the village? The village is temperance, running a
policy of prohibition, you cannot stop being an alcoholic when back in the
village, the need for alcohol doesn’t go away. It’s pretty tough on the citizen
if being in the Therapy Zone turns you into an alcoholic! I used to think how
Number 2 lowers his inhibitions, “To hell with the village!” A drunk you see
tells the truth, they should have given Number 6 the “hollow leg treatment,”
pour some gin down him and he’ll soon start talking, they wouldn’t be able to
stop him. But Number 2 wasn’t the worse for drink, he was stone cold sober, and
the Therapy Zone nothing more than an opportunity to further drug Number 6. No,
perhaps indoctrination is the better way, and perhaps Number 6 stumbled in on
the real Therapy Zone. An alien life form instilling its very being into the
human psyche! I have become Rover!
Be seeing you
