The bay window of
the Old People’s Home is so obviously a painted backdrop. Yet the lawn, balustrade,
and Camera Obscura stand out even more, so poorly presented as it is. No
attempt has been made to make the painted grass at the bottom of the painted
backdrop blend in with the grass Number 14’s table and chairs stand on!
Be seeing you
Hawkeye! You know you're not supposed to look that closely, or watch in colour. Only black and white. Less expensive! - BCNU!
ReplyDeleteHello Arno,
DeleteToday I have been working with an item from the Victorian period just for a change. Something in need of slight restoration, so I only read your comment a few minutes ago.
Just for you I have added the same picture in black and white, less expensive but the effect is very much the same!
And you are perfectly correct, I should be watching in black and white, and fully intend doing so from October 6th!
Best regards
David
