Thought For The Day

Why is it I wonder, that a number of fans see the Village situated somewhere in the south east coast of England at the end of the A20 between Dover and London? Well obviously I know why, it is because after the Scammell Highwayman transporter crashes through the wrought iron gates at the end of the tunnel in 'Fall Out,' the lorry appears to drive onto the A20, which of course it doesn't! It drives onto a single track country road, which could be anywhere, and later the lorry is seen on the A20, which of course it isn't, it's the M1 motorway! And when you consider the indisputable fact of the location of the Village, as navigated to by Number 6 in 'Many Happy Returns,' it is impossible for the Village to be on the south east coast of England.
