   I have seen this actor, George Merritt, before in the 1941 film ‘The Ghost Train’ Arthur Askey as Tommy Gander a comedian and entertainer, and Richard Murdoch as Teddy Deakin. George appears in the film as a ticket Inspector not on the ghost train, one travelling to Truro. And continuing the railway connection, in the Will Hay film ‘Oh Mister Porter,’ another favourite film of mine.
