Village Pin-Up
Why? Because I like Nadia Gray. I also like Jane Russell my number 1 pin-up since I was a boy, but she wasn't in the Prisoner!
MY number one pin up from 'The Prisoner' would have to be Rodney Trotter's mother-in-law and real life mother of 'Sherlock' actor, Benedict Cumberbatch.
THE GORGEOUS WANDA VENTHAM! (also seen in 'Danger Man', 'UFO'...etc, etc...
Having clicked on your picture to increase its size, I seem to recall several brief chats with you at past conventions. Have you not taken No6's place on the human chess board on more than one occasion?
I attended conventions between 1987 - 1993 and visited Portmeirion at least a dozen times within those 6 years as well as walkabouts, work ins and parties...
Hello Tara, It's nice when people remember people from bygone times, and Steve's excellent cartoons. I am in touch with Steve on occasion, so I shall pass on your regards to him if you so wish.
My word you've been busy. I'll get to your comments now, and your emails later this morning.
No, it's not possible to download pictures into a comment box, I've tried.
My conventions were 1989 to 2001. Yes, I did take the place of No.6 on the chessboard between 1994 and 1998, as well as in a good many other re-enactments over the years. As Number 6 in the election parade of 1994, there were in excess of 200 people taking part, both Six of One members and day visitors to Portmeirion who thought I was Patrick McGoohan! I too attended work-ins as well as 30th anniversary event for 'the Prisoner.
