Once upon a time perhaps Number 2 was a Prisoner, just like Number 6. But unlike Number 6, he resisted for so short a time. So, is this, is this how Number 2 woke up on the morning of his arrival, to look out upon The Village for the first time? If it is, he wouldn’t have been the first, and he wouldn't be the last.
