Teabreak Teaser
During
‘The Chimes of Big Ben,’ who is Fotheringay speaking to on the telephone?
I imagine that the de-cyphered message is the "delivery note" that No.6 gave to Karel. "He will not understand it, it is in code" No.6 said. But perhaps Karel did understand it, and there was a phone in his cave!
Hello ZM72, Nice to be hearing from you again. That's quite right, the de-cyphered message would be the coded "delivery note" which No.6 gave to Karel-Post 5. And your comment is a fair idea, and I like the idea behind it. However Post 5 would not have bothered to send that coded message in the first place, well certainly not to London. Perhaps a message to The Village saying that Number 6 and Nadia had been crated up ready for collection. Seeing as how the only journey Number 6 would be taking was one back to The Village!
