There he is, Number
6 all at sea aboard his raft, and there’s M. S. Polotska coming to his rescue!
But haven’t we witnessed something like this scene before? Why yes, in ‘Many
Happy Returns,’ when Number 6 having escaped The Village on his raft collapses
and is found by the crew of a gun runners boat! There are certain differences
of course, but there is a parallel between the two scenes which culminate in a
fight scene between the two man crew and Number 6. Only this time he doesn’t
need to jump ship. And even if he did he couldn’t swim so far that the Guardian
at the stern of the vessel couldn’t subdue him in the water, like that time in
‘Free For All!’
Be seeing you
David. ..Let me rewrite this...
ReplyDeleteNumber 6 made a discovery in the lower level of the Polatska. An air tank, diving mask, swim trunks and fins. Number 6 immediately stripped off all his clothes... donned on the swim trunks...and air tank.
Six stepped upstairs putting on his fins on his bare feet in front of the Guardian at the stern of the Polatska. He puts on his scuba diving mask and told the Guardian... "Be Seeing You!" And then...splash!
Six was underwater diving to freedom. He was near land as he arose from the water. However he turned around and discovered right behind him...the Guardian! With a mighty roar,he was consumed by the giant balloon. He was interrogated at the hospital by the Supervisor for several hours. When will you learn Number Six?
