    Generally speaking the Prisoner episode ‘The General’ was originally screened after that of ‘A B & C,’ in which Colin Gordon plays Number 2 and the new Number 2, but not necessarily in that order. The fact of the matter is, ‘The General’ was filmed before ‘A B & C,’ so that when Number 2-Colin Gordon makes his return appearance, he does so five weeks before his debut!
