ESCAPE!
Curious is it not, that at the very same moment
that Number 6 and his three confederates crash through the gates at the end of that
tunnel, Number 1 is blasting off from The Village aboard his rocket. One could
interpret this as being more than coincidence, seeing as how Number 6 and Number 1 are
seen to be one and the same, that they actually escape The Village together.

No. 6, former No. 2 and No. 48 considered as the Holy Trinity... Not that I would agree but arguably a contribution to the debate of religious symbols in the series. - BCNU!
ReplyDeleteHello Arno,
DeleteThe Holy Trinity.....no I wouldn't agree with that either, but then I'm not at all religious. But I am aware of the interpretation of religious symbols within the series.
Very kind regards

Hello David,
ReplyDelete.. it's as if one, Number 6, is going back to the roots, whereas the other, Number 1, might be going to become the first man on the moon. the 2 antipodes (if one can call them so) of the Village leave it in two opposite directions. And the Village in the middle explodes in chaos.
Very best wishes
