During Checkmate No.6 is brought to the hospital for tests, psychiatric tests which reveal to the doctor No.23, or is it 22, that No.6 has aggressive tendencies! Well you'd have aggressive tendencies if you had been abducted from your home by person or persons unknown. Taken to a place you know not - held captive against your will - been interrogated - had your name and identity taken away - experimented on - tricked - fooled - pushed, filed, stamped, indexed, briefed, de-briefed, numbered and generally coerced and threatened! I just wonder how many of use would be able to revolt, resist, fight, hold fast, maintain, destroy resistance, overcome coercion, and remain a person or individual just as the Prisoner known as Number Six did?
