'Hammer Into Anvil,' poor old No.2, such was his paranoia that he could trust no-one. He even came to believe that No.6 was a plant in the Village, sent there by their masters to spy on them. As the episode develops one realises that all it would have taken to correct No.2's misconception of No.6, being a plant, could easlily have been corrected by No.1. But No.1 failed, quite deliberately it seems, to put No.2 out of his misery. Perhaps No.1 saw No.2 as being a weak link in the chain of command, and possibly took pleasure seeing No.2 bringing about his own downfall, aided by No.6's "Jamming" tecniques!
