The car chase during 'The Girl Who Was Death,' enjoyable not just for the action, but also the music. So why the Lotus Elan, when the Prisoner drives a Lotus 7? Perhaps Lotus could not provide another seven at that time. Or perhaps the Elan was preferred for this scene, a car which Patrick McGoohan originally rejected for 'the Prisoner.' And that's not Patrick McGoohan behind the wheel in the top picture, he is only seen in close-ups, not long shots, until he drives into Witchwood that is.
