Thought For The Day
No.6 told both the Colonel and Thorpe in Many Happy Returns, that the Village has its own television station, its own cinema. Well we've seen the television in use in both episodes of Free For All as the election coverage. And that of The General, through which students receive their tutorage via the General and Speedlearn. But I wonder what other programmes were transmitted - Danger Man, Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea, Crossroads, the Prisoner, or Village Newsnight. And enjoying a Cinema, what films might the good citizens enjoy on a night out, The Great Escape with Richard Attenborough and Steve McQueen, or Convict 99 with Will Hay perhaps! BCNU
