In 'Checkmate' when Number 8 makes Number 6 his nightcap of hot chocolate. It's a charming scene, yet it has it's suspicion when Number 6 asks Number 8 how she got into his cottage, by the door of course. There is anger when Number 6 shots at Number, as everyone wants to help Number 6! Yet there is a slight tenderness, after Number 6 hurts Number 8's feelings, and humour when he tells her that he's here all the time. And one other thing.....in akaing Number 6's nightcap, Number 8 takes the palce of the personal maid. And so I can't help but wonder if Number 8 added the sleeping darught into the nightcap?
